Dr. Rosen is excited to open her practice in her home town of Elkins Park, PA. She is a third generation family physician, following in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Robert Weinstock, and her grandfather, Dr. David Broselow. After graduating from Cheltenham High School, Dr. Rosen received a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Rosen earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. She completed her residency in Family Medicine and served as Chief Resident at Abington Memorial Hospital. Dr. Rosen has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2001. Before opening her own practice in Elkins Park, she treated patients at Buckingham Family Medicine in Buckingham, PA and at Hatboro Medical Associates in Hatboro, PA.
Dr. Rosen's special interests include Women's Health Care and Comprehensive Family Care. She understands that her patients’ social, emotional, and professional lives can have a great impact on their physical and emotional health. She enjoys treating multiple family members to better understand these dynamics and optimize individual care.

This review was a toss up for me. I will say that Dr. Rosen's office team is undoubtedly the best! The are kind, understanding and polite. The environment is calm and unlike many crowded and uncomfortable doctor's offices. That being said, Dr. Rosen appears to be very kind and easy going, but in comparison to my most favorite primary physician who moved down south, she could use more of a hands on approach. When I was concerned about swollen glands after I felt like I was coming down with something, she sat at a desk (as she had in prior visits) for approximately 15 minutes going through a battery of questions, which I do understand; however when it came time to examine me, it almost felt like she didn't want to touch me! This occurred when I had gone to see her prior for a routine check up. I joked around to one of my coworkers that it felt like she was trying to read my aura or something because her hands lightly traced around my neck rather than actually touching the area. I have been sitting on the fence due to that wonderful staff, but I may need a more "hands on" physician.

Switching to Dr. Rosen was one of the best things I have ever done. She is patient, insightful, and proactive. She listens and thoughtfully responds back to patient concerns. She takes her time and is extremely knowledgable. Dr. Rosen truly cares about her patients and will continue to investigate until issues are resolved.

The office is quiet and peaceful. The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr.Rosen has a great way of asking you questions and getting to know you, while also educating you. I came away from my appointment having a clear sense of what tests had been done and why, and what to expect as far as follow up. I did not feel rushed at any point, and had a chance to bring up all of my wonderings and concerns. The nursing staff did a nice job of getting the details first to make my time with Dr.Rosen really productive. I will be making her my PCP!

I made the appointment under the impression that I was seeing a dermatologist. Dr. Rosen is not a dermatologist as advertised on Zocdoc website. Dr. Rosen only treats skin diseases. Therefore I was disappointed in the website not the doctor.

For someone who has no interests or habit of writing reviews on anything, I feel absolutely compelled to sign up and leave my honest opinion here to not only thank her for providing me with years of outstanding care but also to give other patients like me when I first used Zoc Doc in search of a new or better family physician for a lifetime.
Out of a long list of characteristics distinguishing them from the large pool of family physicians and contributing factors behind my superb experience each and every time I encounter Dr Rosen and her awesome assistants, I'd say they are patient, genuinely compassionate, knowledgeable yet personable, professional while empathetic, offer a logistically efficient patient flow, accurate clinical diagnosis combined with consistent and effective treatment delivered at a simple-to-understand, and budget-friendly low price (especially for someone without health insurance NOT by choice).
So, to summarize, THANK YOU Dr Rosen and staff, and please KEEP IT UP!!
