Rachel Zelman, NP graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and minor in Global Health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NYU, where she graduated summa cum laude. While at NYU, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Rachel has over 6 years of experience as a nurse and has cared for patients across the lifespan, from newborns to older adults.
When she decided to advance her career, she went on to earn her Masters of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University in Manhattan. Upon graduation, Rachel completed the advanced practice provider fellowship program at Schweiger Dermatology Group, where she received extensive training in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology from top dermatologists.

Rachel was incredibly confident, competent, and kind during my appointment. I was a nervous wreck about a few moles, but Rachel’s communicative and comprehensive skin screening made me feel at ease. The folks at the front desk and Rachel’s assistant/nurse were all very kind, knowledgeable, and approachable as well. 100% recommend!

This experience was good. Doc was great. Only annoying thing is I had to refill out everything even though I had been to the office before. I was told the person I saw last time had never been at this location, but that is wrong. Just think it was a new person at the desk. Other than that annoyance, overall experience was great.
