From making the appt and the follow up on the appt. The greeting at the office by the reception to the actual consultation was excellent. The staff was very professional. The Doctor was very informative, had answers to all my questions. He listen and then gave us the information. His bedside manners were excellent. The consultation was a success.

I interviewed 8 different plastic surgeons to do my mastectomy reconstruction & I am extremely happy with the results the doctor & office staff made each visit a pleasure, especially when dealing with a difficult situation.

Dr. Rafael Gottenger attended Central University of Venezuela medical school where he received his medical doctorate and completed his post Graduate training. From there he completed a rigorous residency program at Columbus University in Plastic Surgery and, while there, received his Board Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Gottenger’s medical and surgical practice includes all aspects of plastic surgery, including abdominoplasty, breast augmentation and reduction, face lifts, body lifts, brachioplasty, liposuction, rhinoplasty, and reconstructive surgeries; with a special concentration in breast and body contouring surgery. He maintains medical privileges at various hospitals and medical centers throughout South Florida including South Miami Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Aventura Hospital, Jackson South, and Mount Sinai. Dr. Gottenger is a member of both national and international medical societies and is fully accredited and board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Gottenger is an Operation Smile International Volunteer, involved with the "World Journey of Hope". He has traveled to almost 20 countries throughout Central and South America, Africa, Europe and the Asia as part of the group’s mission. He has performed surgeries for the organization which include, repairs to cleft lips and palates and congenital and traumatic deformities in children. Dr. Gottenger has performed medical procedures as part of the organization’s mission on over 500 children.

I liked him but waited too long for the final price quote. I had to leave without getting it. I was there 2 hours just for a consultation. Very nice office and kind employees
