Dr. Talati takes his role as a leader very seriously. He served on both the Quality Practice Management Committee and the Electronic Health Records implementation Committee at Florida Academy of Family Physicians, where he affected countless patients in the way doctors evaluate their services. Originally from the UK, Dr. Talati spent much of his young adulthood in the Americas. He attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, after attending University of California at Irvine for his undergraduate studies. He then completed his residency at Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago in family medicine. He currently delivers both inpatient and outpatient care as a family physician, a role he has held for nearly ten years.
In the past, Dr. Talati served in an urgent care center for three years in the Charleston area, where treated patients ranging from infants to geriatrics, with a wide range of illnesses and needs. He is very proud of his years of military service, where he devoted his skill in medicine to treating other service members. Dr. Talati reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Assistant Chief of Aerospace Medicine in South Carolina. He takes the meticulous eye he acquired during his military years to treat all sorts of complex conditions that patients may have. He is happily married, with two children.
