Dermatologist at Sarva Skin Center located in Katy, Texas; Dr. Rajesh Yalamanchili was born and raised in New York City, and after graduating from high school, he pursued his undergraduate education at Harvard University. Having earned a bachelor's degree with honors from Harvard, he then matriculated at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he continued to excel academically. Upon receiving his medical degree, Dr. Yalamanchili moved to Austin, Texas to complete his internship year at Brackenridge Hospital and Children's Hospital of Austin. At the end of this year, Dr. Yalamanchili moved back to New York to complete a dermatology residency at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, after which he was accepted into a highly-coveted dermatopathology fellowship program at the prestigious Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology, where he was among the last fellows to be trained by the late world-renowned Dr. A. Bernard Ackerman.
Dr. Yalamanchili is one of only a handful of dermatologists in the country who is dual board certified in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology, which affords him the unique ability to approach, evaluate, and manage skin conditions both macroscopically and microscopically. Being able to integrate these two views of the skin allows Dr. Yalamanchili to provide the most comprehensive care possible for his patients.
Dr. Yalamanchili is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society of Dermatopathology, International Society of Dermatopathology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society. He is also a member of the medical staff at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.

Very impressed with Dr. Yalamanchili. His knowledge and expertise in the area of injectables and dermatology is far superior to most Doctors in this area. He took time to explain in detail the steps to his procedures. He was slow to just inject but created a long term plan instead that included follow ups and consultations to ensure the best results. He now has a patient for life. I will send all my friends to Dr. Yalamanchili.

Doctor did not provide the space to the patient. He was in a hurry to finish the job. He was in a hurry to come to his conclusions rather than listening to the history and background of the patient's problems. This is what was felt by me and need not be generalized about the doctor.

I took my teenage daughter to see Dr. Yalamanchili for acne on her face. He was so nice and very through on what needed to be done. He treated my daughter with the upmost respect. I say that because most doctors will not speak directly to a teenage patient. Mostly questions and treatment would only be discussed to the parent. He came in, sat right in front of my daughter face to face. Asked HER all the questions and spoke directly TO HER on what treatments he wanted her to do. Any questions or clarification on treatment I asked he answered also. I highly recommend Dr. Yalamanchili to anyone considering him. Walked away from appointment not annoyed and not looking for another doctor. Wish he was a primary doctor, I might would go more often.
