I knew I wanted to see the same doctor but I was not sure that she took my new insurance. I looked on Zocdoc, and she did take my insurance so Setting up an appointment was easier than I thought. I was also presented with other doctors in my area who accept my insurance. That was a bonus feature that I appreciated. Actually I would rather book my appointments this way, there is no waiting on hold, I literally can book anything that’s available, and I get sent a reminder that I have an appointment coming up.

Staff was awesome and very friendly, however the wait time for the first appointment took 45 minutes, thought it would have been faster since it was 08:00 first one . Other then that, if I had to go back absolutely

Ran Ku, PA, is a full-time physician assistant who works closely with Dr. Mina Safain. Ran received her Physician Associate Degree, Masters of Medical Science from Yale University School of Medicine. She is a dedicated neurosurgery medical professional with over 13 years’ experience as a physician assistant.
Dr. Mina Safain is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon, whose clinical interests include all diseases affecting the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system. He has specific interests in minimal access procedures for degenerative, infectious and oncologic spine disorders, as well as minimally invasive treatments for brain tumors, including neuro-endoscopy.
Dr. Safain received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Tufts Medical Center, serving as chief resident his final year. He completed fellowship training in pituitary and neuro-endoscopic surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital under Dr. Edward Laws.
Together with Dr. Marie Roguski, Dr. Safain provides greater local access to the full range of highly specialized neurosurgical care, including spine, neck and head surgery, in north suburban Boston, with seamless transition of care to Tufts Medical Center for highly complex procedures, if needed.
