Dr. Semma was the best. Great bedside manner and took the time to explain diagnosis and treatment. He also listened to me describe what was going on. His staff (Yolanda) was also very nice and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Senna and his practice to anyone.

Originally from Michigan, Randy Semma moved to South Florida in July of 2011 to begin his 3 year residency program. Prior to moving to Florida, he earned his Bachelors of Science from Wayne State University. While earning his undergraduate degree, Randy Semma was introduced to the field of Podiatric Medicine after sustaining an ankle injury while playing basketball. It was at this time that he changed from a possible career in dentistry to one in podiatry and applied to the Ohio College of Podiatry Medicine. Once Randy was accepted into OCPM, he excelled in the areas of anatomy, radiology and biomechanics. In his 3rd year of school, he began to search for a residency program that both targeted his interests in trauma and sports medicine as well as challenged him as a physician.
He found the Palmetto General Hospital program located in Hialeah, Florida which he began in July of 2011. His residency both prepared and highly trained him in trauma surgery, flat foot reconstruction, bunion and hammertoe surgery while allowing him to pick up another language of Spanish. Randy was able to participate in 2 missionary trips to Dominican Republic with the SOL foundation and 1 to Mexico with the Yucatan Cripple Children's Project. At these missionary trips, Randy performed reconstructive surgery on both children and adults using the Ilizarov external fixation system. During his 3 years at Palmetto, Randy met his now wife and they have two children together.
Randy Semma moved back to Michigan to be closer to his family. He now resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan with his entire family and enjoys spending his free time playing with his children, going to the movies, bowling and following the Detroit sports team.
