Great experience! The full team here was highly knowledgeable, friendly, and made my eye exam and (first ever!) glasses prescription quick, easy, and enjoyable. Will definitely be going back for my annual exams!

Would definitely recommend Halsted Eye Boutique and any of their doctors, but Dr. Welch was fantastic. Very friendly, explained everything, great to talk to and an amazing doctor. She also recommended something to help with styes in my eyelashes that I've had issues with my whole life and have never had a doctor point out before. Overall excellent!

Dr. Ranju Ganesh is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. As a true midwesterner, she came to Chicago to pursue her optometric education at Illinois College of Optometry and graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society and with clinical honors. While in school, Dr. Ganesh gained extensive training in her specialty dry eye and cornea clinic, and has a passion for helping those suffering with Dry Eye Disease through the latest advances in eye care technology. She has been serving patients in the Chicagoland area ever since!
Dr. Ganesh is a member of the American Optometric Association & Illinois Optometric Association, and especially enjoys mentoring students at Illinois College of Optometry as an ambassador as well as through the Chicago Scholars organization. She enjoys her mentorship programs and giving back to the community by helping first generation college students apply to medical programs.
If you're not seeing Dr. Ganesh in the office, you'll likely find her exploring Chicago's neighboorhoods and trying local cafes and restaurants. Dr. Ganesh resides in the Lincoln Park area with her husband and two rescue pups, Franklin and Arthur.
