I'm a contractor so I usually switch doctors when I switch contracts, but Dr Loutoby is a keeper. He listened and responded to all of my concerns. I also feel as though I have a direction towards being healthy.

Dr. Raphael Loutoby completed his medical education at the University Pierre and Marie-Curie in Paris France (UPMC). It is the largest scientific and medical complex in France and well known as one of the top universities in the world. From UPMC, Dr. Loutoby went on to do his residency in Internal Medicine in Manhattan, NY.
After completing his residency he went on to complete his fellowship in Nephrology in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Loutoby is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Nephrology. After completing his fellowship he moved to Atlanta, GA to work as an attending physician in Nephrology. Dr. Loutoby has admitted his patients in some of the most prestigious hospitals in Atlanta for nearly 20 years.
After his time in Atlanta he then spent time in Asia and the US Virgin Islands practicing Nephrology. He also worked in several hospitals all over the United States as a Locums Tenens Hospitalist for nearly two years. During his time abroad and working in hospitals across the US, Dr. Loutoby has gained invaluable experience treating patients from all different walks of life. It is this experience that allows Dr. Loutoby to keep an open mind and treat each patient as a unique individual.
Dr. Loutoby now resides in the metropolitan area of Washington DC where he currently sees patients on a daily basis. Aside from practicing medicine, Dr. Loutoby enjoys traveling and has been places all over the world. He enjoys the outdoors and is a scuba diving enthusiast. He completed his first bicycle century (100+ miles) in Asia in 2008, and has recently climbed mount Kota Kinabalu. Dr. Loutoby is currently working on humanitarian projects in Kenya and Tanzania.
