That rewarding position elevated Raquel's enthusiasm to focus on an alternative approach to healthcare, giving patients more time with their provider to ensure they are being heard. Most practices today are based on volume and the "get them in, get them out" approach, primarily due to the demands from insurance companies. Raquel recognizes that the traditional method of primary care is impersonal and too fast-paced to allow for thorough patient care. With her knowledge and strong desire for personalized care in the community, Raquel established a Health Check Primary Care in Marietta, Georgia. My goal is to make healthcare accessible by offering affordable healthcare options. One of them is Direct Primary Care, a membership-based practice that provides optimal healthcare at a low, affordable monthly rate. DPC does not involve insurance companies, which allows for more time with each patient at every visit, with no co-pay or unexpected bills.
