Dr. Ravi Gupta was born in Gwalior, India, and received his medical training in India and the United States. Through his work as a hospitalist, he has gained significant experience working with a variety of patients and conditions, and has practiced internal medicine in a private-practice setting since February 2009.
Dr. Gupta earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Gajra Raja Medical College, J.A. Group of Hospitals in Gwalior, India, where he also completed internships concentrated on the practice of Internal Medicine. Following his training, Dr. Gupta served for more than a decade as a consultant radiologist in Delhi, India.
In July 1998, Dr. Gupta left India and moved to the United States. He devoted the next two years to carefully preparing for the United States Medical Licensing Examination. After successfully passing the exam, Dr. Gupta completed his post-graduate training with a residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai, Veterans Hospital in Bronx, NY.
Since arriving in Arizona, Dr. Gupta has worked as a hospitalist for two separate organizations before founding Lifeline Internal Medicine Associates and serving as the practice’s Medical Director.
Dr. Gupta is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
