Dr. Ray Kennedy has been serving the greater Louisville community for over 25 years. Dr. Kennedy and the Commonwealth Family Medicine team provide care to both adult and pediatric patients, Monday through Saturday. Dr. Kennedy and his staff strive to create a warm, positive and welcoming atmosphere for all of their patients.
**For patients and parents coming in for an annual physical: we will complete a full bloodwork panel and additional testing during this visit.**
Dr. Kennedy graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and specializes in Emergency Medicine. He is affiliated with Jewish Hospital Shelbyville and Norton Hospital. The practice is available for routine visits and is also prepared to treat patients of all ages in immediate need of medical care. Dr. Kennedy and his team will go above and beyond to ensure patients will be seen same-day with minimal wait time.

I never had any problem with Dr Kennedy. However I was left in a patient room when Ben was supposed to see me that day. It seemed like forever...I started to leave twice. I can appreciate how long physicians study for their jobs but patients are on schedules too. We should not have to miss an entire day of work because a doctors office is understaffed. I was really disgusted by the time I left. I have an appointment tomorrow and I will request my patient
records as I am looking for another Primary Care .

The office staff, the nurse practitioner and the doctor were all professional and caring. Rather than doing computer work during my appointment, they all listened carefully and looked directly at me. They will deal directly with me over my ailment instead of passing me onto a specialist unless it is necessary to do so. They are a small group who are basic and sensible and practical in their diagnoses.

The nurse at Commonwealth Family are professional and take the time to explain what they are doing. Dr. Kennedy has great bedside manner and makes you feel as if you are his only patient. Doesn't rush through your questions and makes sure you are comfortable before you leave.

First time that I had ever met him. Very impressed. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and took time with my questions and health background. I definitely liked him as he appeared to be a caring person that was interested in my health. Excellent bedside manner and down-to-earth person. Spoke in terms that I understood.
