Dr. Mahoubi is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been with the practice since 1996. The doctor was raised in Missouri and attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine. He served as the Chairman of the Department of Primary Care Services at Phoenix Baptist Hospital from 2000-2010. Dr. Mahoubi specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases. Outside of the office, Dr. Mahoubi enjoys family activities with his wife and two young children.

I didn't get to really give a full picture of my symptoms and what kind of tests I wanted or why because in the end, I didn't get them. Long story short, my search for a PCP continues.

I recommend, without reservation, Dr. Mahoubi. He is remarkably kind and caring. In my experience, doctors are often more interested in hearing themselves speak than listening to patients' concerns. By contrast, Dr. Mahoubi asked me several times if there was anything else he could do, and did I have other questions or concerns. This is what a doctor's appointment should be like (though it's been several years and several doctors since I've had such a positive experience).
