I waited over an hour to be seen, even though I had filled out my paperwork ahead of time. Once my name was called, I had my pupils dilated and then walked to another waiting room where I waited another 30 minutes. Then once in the room I waited 15 minutes to see the doctor, then was once again led to a third waiting room for final imaging tests. After that, I had to wait for the doctor to view the images. Dr. Bobo was very professional. My optometrist thought that I needed cataract surgery, but Dr. Bobo thought that my case was not severe enough. She explained my options should cataract surgery become necessary and how she might proceed.

Dr. Rebecca Bobo, graduated from the Junior Honors Medical Program at the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Biological and Medical Sciences. She subsequently received her Medical Degree from the University Of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Bobo completed her Ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia and was then appointed Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal College of Optometry where she held her position until joining our practice in 2013.
Dr. Bobo has extensive clinical experience in the areas of cataracts, glaucoma, retinal and diabetic diseases as well as dry eye. Dr. Bobo is a compassionate and caring physician who values high-quality care and commitment to her patients.

They didn't even have my name in their system, I will never return to this facility. I do not blame your company, it was Florida Vision Institute, said they didn't have online appointments set up, yet it was on their website. Very frustrating day!!! They need to get their act together. They lost a good customer!

Don't waste your time filling out the new patient forms on zocdoc. They do not sync with Dr. Bobo's system. You will have to fill them out with pen and paper in the office.

I have followed Dr. Bobo from her previous employer to Florida Vision and still rate her very highly from her interaction with patients to her skill as a physician. I also think highly of the office staff. They seem to very competent, except they don't seem to use the ZocDoc forms that I filled out on-line, especially the medical info. I had to fill out a lot of forms when I got to the office.

Waiting room was nice- TV set to HGTV, plenty of magazines and wifi. Nice wait and did not seem long. Thought the office was very nice and every staff member encountered was nice and seemed very knowledgeable.
Thought for office to consider....it is difficult to get "out" during the work day so staff should prep the patient on how the appt is going to "flow," what to expect and an approximate time frame.
People get frustrated when they do not know what the expectations for an appt are, when something takes a long time, when they aren't told what's next, or how long it might take.
1) Not told at the beginning what eye tests would be done, they just started doing them -wish I could have known what to expect and how long to expect ( was not intending on having eyes tested at all) 2) Never eyes dialated before and was not told I would not be able to see (work) for a few hours 3) the appointment setter had originally advised me to see Dr. A based on the "ailiment" I described to her - but because Dr. A was unavailable she advised Dr. B, today I was referred back to Dr. A by Dr. B so essentially I added an extra unesscary appt. which is another co - payment + whatever other charges + all the time it takes for each appt.

The doctor was very professional and did a thorough examination. She described the cause of my symptom in a way that I could understand, and explained the treatment in a way that made sense and was easy to follow. She was late for our second appointment due to an unplanned emergency, but called me to apogize and check on my condition.
