Rebecca A. Chilvers, M.D. is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She received her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Waco, TX and medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. She completed her residency and sub-specialty training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she also earned a Master of Medical Science degree. In addition to being experienced with in vitro fertilization and fertility treatments, she is one of the few women reproductive endocrinologists in North Texas who has received specialized training on the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, a minimally invasive option she uses for complex surgical procedures, including myomectomies and tubal reversals. During medical school she received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award and in residency she obtained a research grant and received numerous teaching awards. She has also been recognized as one of “America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists” in 2012 and 2013. She has published in peer reviewed journals including Fertility and Sterility, Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics (JARG), and Reproductive Biomedicine as well as in the journal Seminars in Reproductive Medicine. She reviews papers for the journals JARG and DNA and Cell biology. Dr. Chilvers is well versed in all aspects of infertility and enjoys helping patients with in vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and fertility preservation via egg freezing. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Texas Medical Association, and the Tarrant County Medical Society.She is also a Fellow of the American C
