For my 10y old son, She's the Best OD we've seen in over 4 years!!! She's very experienced and helped us tremendously. She was able to define reasons and explanations to my sons vision problems whereas other OD's have not. I'm happy I found her and highly recommend.

Outstanding office. Most of the work was done by he tech (Which I expect) and she did a great job (Wish I could remember Her Name)and Doctor Freeman came in and verified her work by re checking some very critical information. Asked me a few questions gave me some great informaton and out the door I went. I ws very happy with how things were handled and would recommend this place to anyone

More about Dr. Rebecca Freeman, OD
Dr. Freeman is our newest addition to Schwartz Laser Eye Center and she is excited to join our team. Earning her undergraduate degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, she then attended the University of Missouri – St. Louis, College of Optometry, where she received the Air Force Health Professions scholarship. She graduated with honors and was recognized by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development for Excellence in Vision Therapy in 2008.
After graduation, she served three years as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. While on active duty she was the Chief of Optometry Services at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico where she headed the USAF Corneal Refractive Surgery Co-management Program and the Aircrew Contact Lens Program. In 2010, Dr. Freeman earned the Colonel P. Timothy Ray Company Grade Officer Optometrist of the Year Award for Air Combat Command.
Dr. Freeman is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Arizona Optometric Association and the Armed Forces Optometric Association. She is TPA and DPA certified and has passed all three examinations given by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. She lives in the valley with her husband, and is also a reservist with the 944th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base.
