Hi, I'm Dr. Rebecca, proud owner of In My Heart Psychology & Counseling. I have had the privilege of working in the mental health field for over 15 years and, for the last 7 years, have worked in universities as a Lecturer and now an Assistant Professor. I earned my PhD in Forensic Psychology from the University of Nottingham. The settings I've worked in are very diverse, ranging from children and family services, psychiatric hospitals, prisons, community mental health services, foster care services, to private practice. These diverse experiences have fostered my ability to connect with all humans, no matter what they are facing or how heavy their challenges. I pride myself on my authentic, genuine, and non-judgmental nature. I truly care about my clients and am passionate about creating a safe place for you to feel heard and understood.
