Rebecca M. Rey M.D. was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She attended East Carolina University with a B.S. in Biology, B.A. in Philosophy and a minor in Spanish. She went on to medical school at Ross University school of medicine. She completed clinical rotations in Miami, Florida and various areas of New York and New Jersey. She went to residency in Orlando, Florida at Florida hospital and specialized in Family Medicine. She served as chief resident and took an active role in many community events and programs. She was the lead representative for the Orange County medical society and also played an active role outside the medical community in various athletic events. During her specialization she developed a specific interest in lifestyle medicine. She became active in a clinic for medical weight loss and a specialty clinic designed for diabetics to reduce dependence on medications through lifestyle intervention. Her hobbies include running, cycling, physical fitness and she is certified to teach group exercise classes and as a cycle instructor. She takes part in short races as well as half marathons and hopes one day to run a marathon. She supports multiple causes including the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation as well as the Why no cure organization which raises money for Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

it was great the office staff and the nurses and dr. rey treated me really good.....I had no problem talking about my problems....they all put me at ease.....the youg lady who took my blood no pain at all and she knew what she was doing.....great doctor and staff......

Everyone is very friendly and efficient at the office. I was seen exactly on time, which is VERY RARE for a doctor's office! I was very impressed. The doctor was very informative and helpful when I inquired about some medical concerns.

My Appt was at 10:30. I am new patient so I came early to fill out my paperwork, at 10:30 on the dot I was called in. Dr. Rey's staff was very friendly. Dr. Rey's is great, wonderful bedside manner, very knowledgeable, helpful and caring. I'm new to the area and I'm glad I choose this practice. It's also in a wonderful location.

She had the patience to read my medical record from 2002-2011. Found out that I was taking 2 other medicines that was worsening my health issues, changed my meds and I got the best doctor I ever had. Thank god 2 Dr. Rebecca Rey I got some hope now.
