Dr. Rebecca Weiss is originally from Buffalo, New York. She is a board-certified Family Physician specializing in cosmetic dermatology and laser skin care. As an osteopathic physician, she takes a holistic approach to medicine and is dedicated to ensuring that all of her patients achieve a sense of beauty both inside and out. In addition to her medical spa practice, Dr. Weiss practices general medicine with a focus on women's health at Norterra Family Medicine.
Dr. Weiss graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000 and subsequently pursued her residency in Family Medicine at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Following residency, she took a position with the United States Public Health Service working on the Hopi Indian Reservation in northern Arizona. She lived and worked on the reservation for over 3 years furthering her expertise in primary care medicine. She moved to Phoenix in 2006.
Over the past several years, Dr. Weiss has pursued extensive training in skin care and the latest cosmetic procedures. In addition to routine medical dermatology, she is certified to perform SmartLipo and VASER liposuction procedures, cosmetic injectable treatments such as Botox and Dermal Fillers, photodynamic therapy for acne and anti-aging, and laser skin resurfacing treatments.
Dr. Weiss is the medical director and owner of Paradise Medspa as well as the owner and co-director of Norterra Family Medicine, both offices are located here in Phoenix, AZ.
