Regina Bakshiyev, RD, CDN received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Rutgers University, studied Nutrition at the College of Saint Elizabeth, and proceeded to graduate from the Dietetic Internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with the NJDA Dietetic Student Initiative Award.
Prior to establishing a private practice, she worked as a clinical dietitian at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center specializing in prenatal, postnatal and women’s health nutrition, and a consulting dietitian at multidisciplinary wellness and medical center.
Regina is the founder and owner of Nutrition A to Z, LLC, a nutrition consulting company in Bergen and Monmouth Counties New Jersey. She is a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and is certified in New York and New Jersey to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy. To keep up to date with the latest culinary and nutrition information, she is an active member of the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
In addition to her practice, Regina currently works as a consultant to several health and wellness hospital affiliated centers performing culinary demos and teaching children, teens and adults healthy eating habits, instructs prenatal nutrition workshops at area community centers, and conducts supermarket tours. Regina’s areas of expertise include pediatric and adult weight loss and maintenance, diabetes education, cardiovascular disease management, pre- and postnatal nutrition.
