Renee A. Rowley, O.D. was born in Litchfield, Illinois and raised in Princeton, Illinois. She attended Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa for a biology major with a chemistry minor. She was an active member of the University Band and also played piano. Dr. Rowley was a member of Phi Sigma Eta and Beta Beta Beta honorary academic societies. After three years of undergraduate study, she was accepted in to optometry school early and started optometry school at University of Missouri St. Louis in 2011. She was on the Dean’s List for all four years of study. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015.
Dr. Rowley is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association. She lives in Bourbonnais with her husband who is a nurse at Riverside Hospital. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, playing piano, reading, and working out.
