Dr. Reuel Aspacio, Board Certified Dermatologist and Medical Director of Summerlin Dermatology, welcomes you to his state-of-the-art facility; where realizing the goal of achieving and maintaining healthy, beautiful skin is within reach!
Practicing in Las Vegas since 1996, his purpose in founding Summerlin Dermatology was to provide the finest in Medical and Cosmetic skin care for people of all ages and ethnicities. Dr. Aspacio’s background and experience have made him one of the foremost figures in Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology.
Dr. Aspacio received his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at University of California, Davis. Having earned Highest Honors he stayed on at UC Davis to complete his medical degree. He then went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at University of California, San Francisco/San Joaquin Program in Fresno. Dr. Aspacio continued his studies in the evaluation and treatment of skin conditions at Martin Luther King, Jr/Charles Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. At that center, he gained expertise in the assessment and treatment of ethnic skin; knowledge that is quite valuable in our highly diverse community.
Dr. Aspacio is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery and a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation and the Las Vegas Dermatological Society. As a proud member of the community, he devotes his time teaching as an Associate Professor for the University of Nevada, School of Medicine (UMC) and performing skin cancer screenings throughout

Super busy office, however, i was in and out. BUT i was not able to explain all of the issues that i wanted to talk about because i was being rushed out the door as soon as i stepped in the exam room. He talks really fast and its kind of awkward to just sit there and try try to catch everyth in ng being said. You can tell that he knows his stuff though

It was a busy day and the wait was a bit long. Kinda understandable. I waited for a while and only had less than 5 minutes interaction. I understand that there were many pt but I waited for my turn, too. I just felt rushed! However, the Dr. seems knowledgeable of what he do. The place is pretty neat and clean! ??????

Best doctor I've ever been to. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and his assistant wrote down the important medical terms so I would not forget. I found a dermatologist for life!
I filled out everything on ZocDoc but still had a number of things to fill out when I arrived, so maybe they can improve in that area.

I showed up for my appointment that I had booked a month in advance. The woman at the desk said I didn't have an appointment, although they did manage to fit my in that same day. Dr. Aspacio had his intern come in and look at a raised bump I have on my leg. He never bothered to look at it himself, which I felt was lazy on his part. All he did was tell me the treatment he would do for it, but first my insurance had to approve it. He told me it should take 2 weeks to find out if my insurance approved it and he would call me back. Well months have gone by and I haven't heard anything back from his office. I'm guessig my insurance wouldn't cover the treatment and he just assumed we wouldn't or couldn't pay cash for it. Overall Dr. Aspacio was not very concerned about my medical issue. I feel like he is more interested in his patients who are there for cosmetic visits, rather than patients who are there for skin conditions.

They said they did not have the appt. that I scheduled with doczoc. They did however say they would put me in time slot anyway. I did not go to this appt after finding out as a cash paying patient I would be charged 190.00!!!

Everyone was curtious! Doctor did no touching or scope or light looking, and said things that was not explained in detail. I have been told by other doctors these spots can grow into cancer and should be removed, it runs in my family also. He did not touch or look closely just glanced and said they are aging spots. I'll be seeking a nother dermatologist, since I know for a fact these maybe sun damage and should be taken off.
