It was very pleasant. The doctor and assistants were very kind and helpful, and made me feel relaxed and excited about getting new glasses. The environment and feel of the office is like nothing I've ever seen or felt!! So homey and every detail made me feel like I was in a fancy hotel.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Hernandez comes from a background of medical professionals, “Since I was a little girl I knew I was going to be in the medical field. Not until I had the opportunity to visit the optometry school in Puerto Rico (due to eye trauma) did I realize that was my calling. I was fascinated!”
In 1999 she opened her practice Vision Source-Garland. She chose the Vision Source Network for their high standards and belief that doctors learn from each other and strengthens each other’s skill. She belongs to many medical and optometric societies. She currently maintains membership in TOA, American Optometric Association (AOA) and North Texas Latin American Physician Association.
She is fluent in English and Spanish. She enjoys traveling and Yoga. Above all her accomplishments, her greatest honor has been being a mother to her two daughters Caly and Camille.

I would recommend the office because the staff is awesome, but the glass selections for chip were limited and even though I filled out updated paperwork; my contact information was not corrected so it was a couple months before my son received his glasses.

I made my appointment at 9a, thinking it was the first of the day, but there were three people taken in before me. The people in the office said there was a problem with making appointments on zocdoc and hence the reason for the delay. After all was said and done, would I recommend this office? Absolutely! They were all extremely courteous and friendly!

My visit to Dr.Hernandez's office was very pleasant. I was not seen by Dr Hernandez but the other Doctor was great---very thorough. The young lady who helped me with my contact fitting was very nice too.

Right at a 2 hour wait. Dr. was friendly once we saw her. Getting a copy of contact prescription is like having to go through the FBI. Would never return, period. She lost a lot of business, 6 people in my family and we had needed a new eye dr. because of insurance.
