It was very quick and doctor was thorough with explaining symptoms and possible things that baby could be experiencing. He made me & baby feel comfortable when examining baby girl as well.

Dr. Chapa's bedside manner is awesome. I love the fact that he asked my daughter the questions. He treated her like the patient completely. I am in medical school and that's one thing they teach us talk to the patient, make them feel like they are apart of their healthcare, and even thought this is pediatrics, Dr. Chapa nailed it :) He's very knowledgeable too!

Dr. Ricardo Chapa was born and raised in Laredo, TX. There, he graduated from Texas A&M International University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He then completed his pediatric residency at Dell Children’s in Austin through the UT Southwestern program. During his time in Austin, he has grown to love the city and its people. He lives here with his wife Linda, who is also a pediatrician, and their two spoiled cats, Snowball and Oreo.
