Being an Obstetrician/Gynecologist is a rewarding profession. I have wanted to be a physician since age 4. I studied with the initial intentions of being a cardiac surgeon doing artificial heart transplants. Two years into doing my General Surgery residency, our Obstetrician asked if I would like to deliver my first born. The experience was so beautiful, that I changed careers.

Dr. Bridgewater is such an amazing doctor. He cared for me throughout my pregnancy and he continues to be my OB/GYN. What I appreciate most about Dr. Bridgewater (and his staff) is how thorough he is. I've never been more comfortable with a doctor, let alone a male doctor, as much as I am with Dr. Bridgewater. I trust him.
As far as the wait time, I look at it like this: As people/patients we arrive and we want to be seen immediately! However, while we are being seen we appreciate the time the doctor takes to see us, hear us, and fully treat us. Don't rush the process. Everyone will be seen :)

It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Dr. Bridgewater and Cynthia were awesome and explained everything from start to finish and even made me super comfortable with my questions and choices. He also has me thinking outside the box of my options to my now mom bod and birth control options and how it can help me instead of hurt me.

This was my first time visiting Dr. Bridgewater, I was a little nervous but that feeling went away as soon as I entered the office. The staff was very warm in greeting me and I have to say Dr. Bridgewater was as professional as a Doctor can be. He took every step to make me feel welcomed and he told me step by step what he was about to perform during my exam.The staff and Dr Bridgewater are a keeper. Prior to my first prenatal apptmt, I was aware I my pregnancy would be categorized as a high risk one. T/F due to my occupation and anxiety, promulgated by poor pregnancy outcomes in the past, I extensively researched information on Dr. Bridgewater and his medical team. I read countless patient, provider, and quality assurance reviews and, after educating myself on an array of options, I made an informed choice, (although laced with skepticism), and chose Dr. Bridgewater for my first prenatal. From the moment I contacted his office, I was pleasant impressed. Maria walked me through the entire process---insurance, procedures...etc. She was caring, attentive, and receptive. I asked several questions and she remained patient with my inquiries and continued to ensure I was satiated with all of the information provided to me (as we all know, a rarity in South Florida). Due to what many may perceive as neuroticism caused by my high risk pregnancy, I had several concerns and questions before my appt. Each time, I called their office and spoke to Maria. Although she was also caring for other patients, she either returned my call immediately, or placed me on hold ...while returning to render individualized support to me.
When I finally attended my first prenatal, all my anxiety immediately subsided. Maria and Talithia were attentive, and expressed genuine concern for me, my baby and my pregnancy. I arrived with a few family members, as this is the first time has been successful, beyond my first trimester. Maria and Talithia, BOTH were also ATTENTIVE to my family members throughout my entire appointment. When I heard my baby’s heartbeat the first time, Talithia was as happy as my family members. She is exceptional.
Finally, this leads me to my assessment of Dr. Bridgewater. If you read his CAREER VITAE, you will immediately deduce that his education, Medical background, and his Patient Advocacy is not only unique and impressive, but accurately highlights his dedication to the prenatal and postnatal community. When I met him, I immediately could diagnosticate that he is an Excellent and Skilled medical practitioner. What further impressed me is his empathetic nature. He was genuinely committed to my baby, my family, and me Professionally and Personally, I’ve never been more impressed with any other physician in my life. I no longer experience the apprehension that consumed my entire first trimester.
I will continue to update all future mommies on my experiences with Dr. Bridgewater and his team, throughout my entire pregnancy and birth of my baby, I am confident my evaluation of the services provided to me will remain constant.
