Dr. Link was qualified and perfectly professional, and I didn't feel like he was rushing me at all. But his demeanor felt brusque and judgmental, particularly in the disregard of how unaffordable healthcare can be for some.
I asked for an assessment of an injury but couldn't get a straight answer; everything was about seeing a specialist, getting the x-ray, getting the MRI, etc. I eventually received some advice on how to care for my injury at home, but felt like it was reluctantly given. Dr. Link definitely errs on the side of caution, which is good—but to the extent where the information he does impart isn't helpful, because it's been so diluted with disclaimers and caveats.
On the flipside, the man who took my vitals was extremely helpful (and kind). His answers to my questions were much more straightforward, and I felt more comfortable in his care.

I waited over 2 hours to be seen. When I finally got in to see Dr. Link he seemed hurried and not really attentive to my concerns, our appointment was interrupted by a nurse. I am dealing with a serious injury I didn't get much advice or guidance. it was concerning to my other specialists that my GP/PCP wasn't involved in my ongoing care but going into this new office is a disaster. I have always liked Dr. Link, but i fear the severe overbooking and total chaos at this new office is affecting the care his patients are receiving. I am very sad about this but will be looking for a new GP.

I think Dr. Link is a great doctor but unfortunately his office is not run very efficiently - I waited about 45 minutes after my scheduled time, and our in office session was interrupted a few times. I waited another 10 minutes in his office during an interruption.

Dr. Link himself was great, but it was the environment that made it a bad experience. The waiting room was stuffy and smelly, it made me want to shower after the appointment. While the nurse was taking my vitals, another patient barged in to the room asking where to put her urine sample, because the door wasn't a real door. It was one of those sliding accordion style doors with no lock on it. They have a large examining room, with no door at all, so you're just out in the open with no privacy. However, I don't blame the staff because it appears they are trying to make the most of what they have.

I came in a few minutes before my appointment and waited 2 hours just to get in to see the nurse. keep in mind, I MADE an appointment the day before. I get strep often (since i was very young, i got my tonsils out a while ago but still get it every few months.) This is my second time seeing this doctor, and the second time he told me I didnt have strep. both times i took a strep test for him after arguing that at did have it, BOTH TIMES THEY CAME OUT POSITIVE! I couldnt believe i had to argue with a doctor when i had clear signs of strep. I wouldnt even have gone back after the first time if it wasnt for the lovely nurse. This doctor needs to retire. Do not support this doctor.

A bit older and deals with older patients, but still seems sharp. Quite helpful at explaining things but doesn't sugar-coat things.
Office is a little odd in that there isn't much privacy for patients if that is an issue.

It seems to me that this was once an abandoned doctor's office that this doctor came in and squatted. His office, the examination room, it's a disaster. I went for a physical and they didn't do half of the things that needed to be done during a physical. They never called me with the results from blood work. Nothing. I won't be going back. This place is bad.

The wait time was frustrating. I didn't see Dr. Link until more than an hour after my appointment. But overall I was happy with the visit. His assistant is wonderful - really down-to-earth, friendly, and helpful. The office is old and sort of looks like a house with things thrown everywhere. Not the clinical cleanliness I'm used to at a doctor's office.
The visit was fairly quick but I didn't think I was being rushed - it was just a check-up. Dr. Link is friendly.
I've been looking for a new PCP for awhile, and I'll plan to stick with him.
