visit was great! the front desk girls were very helpful and patient with me. i went in for eyeglasses alone and they helped me find frames that fit my face shape and style, they even helped me stay on budget (even though i was tempted by the designer ones)! wait time was minimal even though they were busy. dr phung was polite and didn't rush me thru my appointment. i would highly suggest this OD to friends and family

Dr. Phung graduated from Crawford High School in 1982 and went on to the University of California at San Diego for his Biochemistry major. He continued his optometric training at the Southern California College of Optometry, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Science in 1988, and a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1990.
Dr. Phung is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, San Diego County Optometric Society, SCCO Alumni, and the National Parks Conservation Association. He also volunteers with the Vision USA and Sight for Student to provide free exam and glasses for the low income individuals.
Dr. Phung enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, camping, nature and night photography, nature oil painting, football, snowboarding, and classical guitar.
His practice goal is to provide excellent vision care to all patients with personalized professional touch. His priority goal is to establish a long lasting health care relationship with his patients.
