I was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on May 29, 1950. I attended Villanova University and the Howard University College of Medicine. Primary Care internship and residency were completed at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA, a Harvard University affiliated hospital. My fellowship in Rheumatology was completed at the Washington Hospital Center in August, 1981. I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. I love this Doc. He is so friendly and has been super helpful in helping me navigate a difficult diagnosis. I've been struggling for years to find out what the pain and other issues were and he hit the nail on the head. Very approachable and takes time to answer any questions you may have.

I had the first appointment of the day, but the front desk clerk checked me in to a room ONE HOUR after I arrived. As a new patient, I arrived 15 min early to fill out anticipated paperwork. 30 minutes after I arrived, I finally got the paperwork, which I completed in 5 minutes. Then I sat another 20min until I got in a room. Then I sat in a room for another 20min to be seen. I'm under 30 years old with no complaints, just wanted labs every few years to make sure things are still ticking appropriately. I'm also a physician. The support staff was awful. Inexcusable.

I was pleasantly surprised to be called 5 minutes after I walked in the office. Doctor Wilson asked pertinent questions to obtain my medical history. I did not have to fill out a medical form in the waiting room. I have never experienced this level of patient service before.

Dr. Wilson and his staff were welcoming, personable and professional. Medical documents were minimized upon my arrival, due to pre-registering on-line with ZocDoc. The doctors manner was friendly, he listened and explained medical information clearly and without hesitation. I did not feel rushed in his facility as I have at the major medical facility I used regularly. I feel I have found a physician to call 'my doctor' and a facility more accessible for my needs.

The doctor is very competent and is a good listener. His office staff do not follow up, close the office without warning and cancel appointments with no notice. I don't get the impression they care very much for the patient's wellbeing.

Dr. Wilson was very kind and immediately like-able. He didn't seem rushed or busy... he asked me lots of questions and listened carefully to me when I spoke. He also seemed very thorough in ordering my labs. I thought it was almost funny that he would hold his breath until his face turned red when he was inspecting my eyes and mouth, but i realized that he was just going above and beyond to ensure we weren't sharing germs unnecessarily. His practice is courteous and thoughtful. I'm looking forward to my second visit.

The wait was a bit long, but perhaps it was just that day. Regardless, seeing Dr. Wilson was worth the wait. He truly knows his field, listens to you, and treats you as a person with an issue, not just a piece of meat on a conveyor belt as I have had the misfortune to experience with other doctors. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson!
