Dr. Myers, is a honor graduate of the Southern College of Optometry. He has been in private practice for over 30 years. He is very experienced in childrens vision, and has a specialty in contact lenses. Dr. Myers is a native of South Florida, and a graduate of Miami Coral Park Sr. High. He is an established member of our community, and a member of The American Optometric Association, The Florida Optometric Association, and the Dade- County Optometric Association. Dr. Myers is an active member of the HOG Club and KDB and enjoys riding his Ultra Classic Harley in his spare time.

Informative? Yes. Rude? Oh, yes. I did not have a pleasant experience with the Dr. His bedside manners are horrible. He interrupts you when you try to speak and makes you frustrated during an already frustrating consultation. He also did not do a good job at recalling the facts of my original visit during my follow-up. So, for these reasons, I'm out.

This was my first visit, and I showed up almost 45 minutes early, but they still attended to me. Doctor Myers was very thorough and answered all my questions and explained everything I needed to know. He's a keeper!

Dr. Rick Myers was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain my issue, which most doctor do not care to do. This was greatly appreciated and would make me want to return to see him. He was also very thorough in trying to find a cause/solution to my problem.

He is an extemely passionate professional. He takes vision importance to a whole new level. At times, I felt as though I was a undergraduate student learning from a graduate-level professor. He took great pain to explain the finer details of not only the functioning of an eye but also the quality of contact lenses. He clearly shows his concern for patients in his policy that no matter what time of day you need professional consultation, he is only a phone call away.
