Dr. Rifat Naghmi is a Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine and is currently practicing at Procare Medical Clinic, Garland, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) as well as his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degrees from Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India. During his medical education, Dr. Naghmi was the recipient of several highly prestigious honors and awards, including but not limited to, gold medals for being the top-ranked student in his fourth and final years of medical school as well as being cumulatively the top-ranked student over a five-year period during his M.B.B.S. Additionally, Dr. Naghmi was also the first recipient from his medical school of the Pfizer Postgraduate Medical Scholarship and Gold Medal in Medicine. His book, A Compendium of Medicine, was published in 1985 with several reprints and edition most currently in 2011. Dr.Naghmi has a special interest in diabetes and skin disorders. He has been a Professor of Medicine at Alfateh Medical University. Dr. Naghmi Completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University and Health Science Center, El Paso, Texas.
