My telehealth experience with Risa was fantastic.
Risa has a really warm and caring personality which is nice to feel through a telehealth visit. It was actually such a refreshing experience that I felt compelled to leave this review. She discussed the reason for my visit and follow-up steps on a person to person level—something I also really appreciate in folks I choose to seek care from. Definitely highly recommend Risa as a provider!

I do not write reviews often, but my first appointment with Risa was a very positive experience. I have never had a provider listen to my concerns as intently as Risa. She asked thoughtful questions and was incredibly easy to converse with. Although it was only my first appointment, I could tell right away that she was very knowledgable and had an understanding of how to solve my stated concerns.
The other office staff were also very friendly and professional. There was a mix-up about my appointment being a Telehealth appointment vs. an in-person appointment, but it was handled swiftly and gracefully. I forgot the names of the two individuals working up front at check-in, but I do remember that I was warmly greeted and was taken care of right after stepping into the office. True professionals.
Overall, I left the appointment feeling hopeful and like I was heard for the first time in a long time. Highly recommend Risa and this practice in general!

Very thorough, informative, and comprehensive. I left feeling confident in my understanding of my overall health and the purpose of various screenings and tests requested. All of my complex questions were answered completely, and was asked a more in-depth series of questions/history than I’ve ever had with a provider. I felt heard, properly screened, and well attended to. Risa also made compassionate suggestions for for referral to a specialist I didn’t think I had a “serious enough” problem to request. I will stay with her practice as long as I live in Seattle!

Risa has treated me previously when she was in psychiatric practice. I found her informative, reasonable, and overall very nice back then. Now that I'm seeing her for more f a primary care need, I have been impressed with ideas she's had to help manage my chronic conditions that were intelligently outside of the box. She respects my views and preferences while maintaining her own and I have high regard for that. Very comfortable with trusting Risa with my care.
