Dr. Rita Fisler, MD
Dr. Rita Fisler is an experienced dermatologist and a graduate of Harvard Medical School in 2002. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology. After an internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, she completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center where she was chief resident, and practiced for 10 years in the Kansas City area before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Fisler is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She has published many articles in peer-reviewed dermatology journals and has presented at many national meetings. She has won numerous awards during her undergraduate and post-graduate training, and was voted “Most Compassionate Doctor”, in 2011 and 2012. She has an undergraduate degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, where she majored in Vocal Performance, and she lived and performed in Paris, France for five years before medical school. Her areas of interest include general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, pediatric dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Fisler enjoys spending time with her family and traveling and enjoys all outdoor activities including running, biking, yoga, skiing, and scuba diving.
