Dr. Robert Abatecola is a friendly and caring primary care doctor located in Antioch, CA. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College. In addition, he holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree, both from NYU.
Dr. Abatecola provides health care services for men, women and children of all ages at Full Care Medical Group. These services include cancer screening, minor injury treatments, vaccination, and the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses. He also offers annual and sport physicals. Prior to his current practice, Dr. Abatecola worked with Kaiser Permanente and before that he was the President of Beaver Medical Clinic in Southern California.
Dr. Abatecola is fluent in both English and Italian. His awareness of these different languages makes him accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Patients trust Dr. Abatecola’s expertise because he consistently provides high quality care that leads to positive and lasting health outcomes.
From 1981 to 1983 Dr. Abatecola worked at Pacific Physician’s Services Urgent Care as a Family Practice Physician and in 1983 he started his own practice in Southern California.
From 1994 to 2003 Dr. Abatecola joined Beaver Medical Clinic, Family Practice Department where he served as Vice President as well as Chairman of Corporate Compliance Committee and eventually President of the Group. From 2003 to 2008 he worked for Kaiser Permanente and from 2008 to 2013 he worked at San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton and in management Reviews.
In March of 2014 Dr. Abatecola joined Full Care Medical Group. He provides health care services for men, women and children of all ages.
