Decent man, young enough to care, old enough to know his craft. He put me at ease and I asked if he would be my primary care physician. He immediately agreed and asked me things my own primary care Dr. never asked me such as colonoscopy or colon check. Many men my age die of colon cancer within ten years because they have not had their colons checked. He also referred me to a local psychiatrist for my anxiety needs, took blood for a complete workup and examination, and really, left no stone unturned. He was friendly and very professional the entire time. I really like this doctor.

I have been looking for a new doctor & I think I've found a good one. His staff was very friendly and the office was super clean as well as comfortable.
Only thing I'm unhappy about is the extra convienence charges for lab work & copies of reports etc - but I guess it's a sign of the times:) just haven't found it to be an issue with other doc's I've been to. Not worth loosing a good doctor over....

Robert S. Ansara M.D. was born in Montreal, Canada and raised locally in Pompano Beach from school age. He attended University of Florida with a B.S. in Microbiology. He went on to medical school in Guadalajara, Mexico where he became proficient in Spanish and gained appreciation for the special needs of the under served and importance of chronic disease management. After a year of internship in General Surgery, he sharpened his procedural skills and integrated this need in Family Medicine. This experience served for office needs from minor laceration repairs to dermatological biopsies for skin cancer prevention. He continued on to specialize in Family Medicine where he could diversify his skills to care for Chronic Disease through medical and lifestyle intervention as well as meet the preventative needs of the community. He is happy to return to South Florida and become an integral member of the community. He will provide services such as educational programs, proactive medicine for geriatric patients, practice preventative care, disease management, continuum care, school physicals and hold specialty clinics to meet the needs of the community. He enjoys strength training, college football and cooking. He is a very family oriented person with strong beliefs and a comforting positive optimism. He is an excellent listener and genuine in his love for practicing medicine.
