Dr. Robert Bentz graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1978. His internship and ophthalmology residency were at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Detroit Michigan. He was board certified in Ophthalmology in 1986.
Always dedicated to staying on the leading edge of ophthalmology Dr. Bentz was one of the first ophthalmologists to perform laser vision correction in West Palm Beach.
A regular participant in Mission work Dr. Bentz has traveled to many third world countries performing all aspects of eye surgery including corneal transplants.
Dr. Bentz continues to keep current in all aspects of ophthalmology and is an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University Medical School.
