Dr. Burke saw me right away and even though my problem was not orthopedic related, he quickly helped me and even sent me to a cardiologist where I received immediate care and was admitted to the hospital for heart failure. Thanks to him, I am alive.

Dr. Robert L. Burke is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in trauma, sports medicine and joint replacement. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Texas Sports Medicine Society, Texas Orthopedic Association, Arthroscopic Association of North America and the Alamo Orthopedic Society. He has written multiple publications and abstracts, as well as given several presentations through the years. He has served as a Clinical Preceptor for Baylor College of Medicine since 1998 and has also been a Clinical Instructor in their program. Dr. Robert Burke with the Fondren Orthopedic Group specializes in sports medicine and continues to focus his care in areas that are developing new techniques on a regular basis. His goal is to allow patients to recover from an injury quickly so that they may return to their everyday activities and sports activities as soon as possible.

I had signed on with ZocDoc and filled in all the paperwork for the first appointment with Dr. Burke. The only problem was, ZocDoc did
not forward my information to the office in time for my visit. So, I had to do it all over again. That meant I had to spend more time doing paperwork and waiting. Once I got into the exam room it went quickly and Dr. Burke was just what I needed.
