Dr. Dickinson is a compassionate and thorough urologist caring for patients in the Austin area at his practice, Urology Associates of Central Texas. Dr. Dickinson is board certified by the American Board of Urology and practices in virtually all aspects of adult urology. He has special interests in therapy for enlarged prostates and prostate cancer in men, incontinence in men and women, kidney stone treatment and prevention, minimally invasive surgery for kidney cancer, treatments for overactive bladder (urge incontinence), vasectomies and male reproductive health.
Dr. Dickinson grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Rice University in 1995. He then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, graduating with honors in 1999. Dr. Dickinson completed his surgical and urology training at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2004.
After residency, Dr. Dickinson established a private practice in Killeen, Texas. He was then recruited by Scott & White to join their multispecialty group at the University Medical Campus Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock. While at Scott & White, he was the Director of Urology and an Assistant Professor of Surgery.
In September of 2010, Dr. Dickinson was pleased to open his own urology practice in Kyle, Texas at the Seton Medical Center Hays. To better serve his patients, Dr. Dickinson performs surgery at all the Austin-area Seton hospitals, Brackenridge Hospital, St. David's Medical Center and several Austin-area surgical centers.
