He received his bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and then went on to receive his medical degree at the State University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in neurosurgery. Dr. Friedman is board certified in neurosurgery and has special interests in spinal disorders, including spinal stenosis, herniated disks, and tumors of the spine. He also has a special interest in neurostimulation for chronic pain. Dr. Friedman has over 30 years of experience in Neurosurgery.
