Very beneficial...went in the office not expecting to get much information on this first visit, but I had an answer to my problem and a reference to a physical therapist before I left. And an alternate plan if the pt didn't work. I couldn't be happier. Plus he is a real cutie.

Dr. Maywood completed his undergraduate career at the University of Southern California, graduated magna cum laude, and earned his medical degree at the University of California at San Francisco. He preformed his internship, residency, and Chief Residency at the University of Miami, and his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.
His expertise is in the diagnosis and treatment of extremity injuries, including complex knee and shoulder injuries, elbow problems and carpal tunnel syndrome. He has worked providing medical care for the New England Patriots Football Team, Boston Bruins Hockey Club and Harvard University Intercollegiate Athletic Teams. He also has served as team physician for San Diego State University Rugby team and the Women’s Professional Football League’s So. Cal. Scorpions.

It has been many years since I have seen a doctor that has cared about my wellbeing. i injured my primary hand and he asked about my daily activities and even my kids!
