My first time at this practice and I saw the nurse practitioner and she was lovely. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Offered multiple solutions to help expedite a painful shoulder injury recovery. She even called me later in the evening after my appointment, long after her office should have been closed, to let me know she had thought of something else to help while she was going over her notes from my visit. Highly recommend.

Dr. Poetz is always great except the wait is ridiculous. It’s ridiculous he overbooks like that. It’s very unprofessional. Some patients have to take off work to come see him and get paid by the hour. To waste hours in a waiting room is a waste of their time and very stressful.

The Dr. was nice, the staff was a different story. Could never get accurate information about my skin test & had to re-do it twice. If you have a list of things you need done like for school or work, I wouldn’t recommend this office.

Everything was great except I'm still waiting on my prescription. I normally get it right away. The young lady at reception checked me out without having my chart so therefore I wait! Now when I call, she keeps telling me it will be another two hours! Generally my prescription is ready for pickup within an hour of my appt. Not today! I'm very unhappy and actually quite miserable. You go to the Dr first thing in the morning, The Dr ordered a shot and a cream. I was right there and so was the nurse. I watched her put them into the computer. Yet I'm still being told have to wait all day . How is that fair?

Dr. Poetz was AMAZING! I have been searching so long for a doctor who not only was knowledgeable about my condition(s) but also who took time to listen to me and really educate me about my health and wellness. He was kind, had a great sense of humor, extremely educated and friendly. I am still in awe of how much time he took to talk to me and explain my problems and how we can fix them and what medicines are best, etc. I WILL be returning - with good faith that I'll be well taken care of. I recommend this doctor for anyone!! He is in Family Medicine so I'm sure - whatever you need, he can help!

I visited Dr Poetz almost 5 times till date. He is very accurate in finding out the problem. But the time he spends is too less with the patient. I ended up coming out of hospital without explaining all my issues. He leaves room even without asking if I have any other questions.
Yes, he is a really busy doctor. I believe he cares much about older people. And again waiting time is 2 hrs+. After I enter hospital, I usually come out after 3 hrs with just 5 mins spent with doctor. I really feel sad about this way of visits.
Once, there was an issue with my insurance and they didn't cover my visits. It was just insurance internal issue, not mine. I paid some amount out of my pocket to keep the visits continue, later issue was resolved at insurance end and they paid them all the money they have to. My check was sent back by hospital after 6 months. That's too much!! I have requested to send my wife's records to her OB-GYN and even after multiple follow ups they weren't sent.
He himself is a very old person. And I appreciate that he is doing his best, but at the same time this is not place to visit for me. I'm sorry Dr. You should have rejected my visit if you think my problem is too small for you to handle or time waste.

I took my 2 year old for a check up and Dr. Poetz was so good with her. I got all of my concerns tooken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Poetz.

The office staff was Wonderful. Saw the Assistant told her my husbands throat hurt, she never looked in it. Was only interested in talking our urine sample (like we were asking for drugs) then came in and said our urine was clean. Drug free. I was so mad. Then the doctor came in for 2 minutes didn't even ask what we needed left and never saw him again. Will never go there again. Waste of time and money.

Every time I make an appointment for either one of my children or for myself we'd be waiting a least two hrs for something that can take only a few minutes! I'm not pleased and its unprofessional to make up appointments you cant keep!! Get more doctors in your practice

Very good in diagnosing the issue on the first visit. I went 4 times to see this doctor for different issues and everything was given right medicine. Only issues is: a little longer waiting time of 40 mins. I'm quite satisfied and I recommend and refer to this doctor.

Although his office was very busy, he still took the time to explain everything. He is very smart and knowledgable. He explained what was going on with me, the medication he was prescribing and how it worked. His staff all worked well together and I felt much better when I left because I knew why I was feeling bad and I knew what the medication was going to do to make me feel better. It's rare to find a doctor who will take the time to thoroughly explain things like he did, plus he's just a super nice guy.
