Dr. Sarro was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and spent his teenage years in the coastal region of southern New Jersey, which allowed him to enjoy the pleasures of the beach and ocean. Dr. Sarro attained his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Rutgers University, where he graduated with highest honors, and was inducted into the Athenaeum Scholastic Honor Society. He attained his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine, where he graduated with distinction, and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
His internship and residency were completed at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. During his tenure at the Clinic, he had the opportunity to learn from and train with many of today's eminent scholars and leaders in the field of Dermatology; he has built upon this foundation to formulate his current level of expertise in his own practice.
Dr. Sarro has practiced general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology in Palm Beach County since 2001; the result of a strong desire to return to a coastal region, endowed with beautiful beaches and a pleasurable climate. Dr. Sarro is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member of the Florida Medical Society, Palm Beach County Medical Society, Palm Beach County Dermatological Society, and the National Psoriasis Foundation. He has maintained a scholarly focus through extensive publications in peer-reviewed journals, and the teaching of medical students and residents. He enjoys the cognitive aspects of medical dermatology, especially complex cases, and is a regional thought leader in the treatment of psoriasis with the most current biological medicines.
