Dr. Robert Titcomb and his staff, Mary Newnam and Megan, welcome you to his Virginia Beach optometry practice in the Haygood Medical Center, located at 1020 Independence Blvd, Suite 307.
Dr. Titcomb received his optometry education at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee specializing in childrens vision studying under Dr John Streff. He continued his education by completing a two year residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. Dr. Titcomb is also proud to be a graduate of the United States Naval Academy Class of 1966 and to have served and retired as a captain in the United States Navy Reserve.
Dr. Titcomb offers primary care vision services ranging from simple optical needs to complex ocular management of cataracts, foreign body removals, and glaucoma treatment. He also holds a position as Virginia's Senior State Low Vision Examiner.
Dr. Titcomb has had the privilege of treating several generations of his patient's from birth to child-birth, and beyond. He believes that the right pair of glasses and contacts enable his patients to function at their highest level and look their absolute best.
