Been with Triad for 20+ years. Office staff is greatly improved, medical staff is friendly and professional and Dr. Tripp is the best. I've never gotten a cookie- cutter answer from him and I always feel like I am being heard.

See Dr. Tripp yearly for well care. He is bright, kind, supportive and an excellent doctor. My visits are always very good and I feel I can talk to him about anything.

Dr Robert Tripp has been practicing OBGYN at Tobey Hospital in Wareham since 1990. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His professional interests include a focus on all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology including pregnancy, infertility, family planning counseling, pelvic pain and both surgical and non-surgical treatment of gynecological problems. He uses an individual approach with all of his patients placing a strong emphasis on patient education, illness prevention and ways to maintain health. Dr. Tripp feels very strongly that the role of the medical community is to help women better understand the health options available to them so they can make informed choices. He believes that the body was designed to heal itself and assists his patients to participate in their own care.
Dr. Tripp received his BA degree in Zoology from the University of Maine-Orono in 1981. He graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine in 1985. He then completed a one year rotating internship at the Chicago Ostepathic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 1986 and a four year Ob/Gyn residency at the Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center in Allentown, PA in 1990.
In addition to clinical care, Dr Tripp has also served at Tobey Hospital as the Chairman of the Department of Perinatology, Vice President of the medical staff, Chairman and member of the Credentials Committee, long-standing member of the Medical Staff Executive Committee and member of the Board of Trustees at Tobey Hospital. He currently serves as a member of the Credentials Committee, a member of the Medical Staff Executive Committee and a member of the Board of Trustees of Southcoast Hospitals Group.
Dr. Tripp is married with two children. He loves spending time with his family, enjoys outdoor activities, wildlife, and visits to his home state of Maine.

I've been coming to Triad for 10 years now and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Tripp is caring and knowledgable. He always takes the time to listen to me and help any way he can. He's a great Dr. and I wish all Dr's were like him. I will continue to see him as my OB-GYN.
