Im 65 & I have been seeing Dr. Westwood for multiple chronic issues. He had kept these conditions at long - allowing me to continue doing activities that I love such as biking & rugged hiking, and snowshoeing.

The first time you walk through the doors at WSJC you realize you are not at your typical cookie cutter doctors office. From the comfortable settings to the state of the art equipment you know your somewhere special.
Dr Robert Westwood takes a comprehensive patient centered approach to care. He starts with a thorough history of your conditions and performs an exam in order to truly uncover the underlying causes of your problem. A treatment plan is discussed and agreed upon and treatment begins the first visit. You will work personally with Dr Westwood with each step of your care from adjustments, to stretching and soft tissue work to rehabilitation and corrective exercises. In his clinics Dr Westwood tends to see many complex conditions and it is common to hear patients say they have been to many different practitioners prior to finding relief at Westwood Spine & Joint Center.
Dr Westwood graduated from Waynesburg College with a B.S. in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. Prior to attending New York Chiropractic College, he has worked as an ATC in a variety of settings including High Schools, Colleges, Clinics and most notably with both the Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations.
Dr Westwood has obtained special certification through Professional Sports Care, He is a certified chiropractic provider for the PGA and Champions TOUR. He is a member of the PGA TOUR Sports Medicine Team and works events throughout the season.
The Sewickley PA office is unique as we offer a Recovery Room for patients and non-patients alike. The Recovery Room at WSJC offers Normatec Compression Therapy, Recovery electric stim, Whole Body Cryotherapy, NuCalm, CBD products, Recovery Aides such as products from HyperIce and CryoTech.
The Canonsburg, PA office offers state of the art high tech rehabilitation with the SpineForce 3D rehabilitation system. There are also recovery options available as well as low tech rehabilitation and patient centered chiropractic care.

Bob has changed my pain management regime and gotten me to a comfort level without drugs that I thought I'd never have. Teaches clients to manage themselves through home stretchers & strengthens.
