I thought the care I received was great, and the staff were all rather friendly. They need to improve on the long wait times though, as nearly two hours passed before I was seen by a nurse before I saw the physician. While the care was good, it was rather rushed (I spent less than 10 minutes with the physician and nurse combined). An important part of any practice is to take a thorough history and get to know your patient. This makes all the difference from a patient's perspective.

Dr. Beraja is an ophthalmologist specializing in the diseases and surgery of the eyes. He graduated from the renowned McGill University in 1987. He then co-founded what is now known as the Beraja Medical Institute. Dr. Beraja has performed over 20, 000 ocular microsurgeries and more than 8,000 laser eye surgeries throughout his over 25 years practicing as an ophthalmic surgeon.
Dr. Beraja is dedicated to innovation and advancing the field of ophthalmology. He was one of the first surgeons in South Florida to perform LASIK. He was the first surgeon in South Florida to perform CLEAR surgery. He was the first surgeon in Miami-Dade county to be certified in Crystalens implant insertion. Dr. Beraja uses only the most advanced technology, using advanced multifocal lenses and the Lensx bladeless laser cataract surgery.

The staff was really not bilingual and not forthcoming on procedures and they had a training person to administer tests who really didn’t speak English to give proper instructions.

Intake process as well as internal processes lack. Customer service is lacking.
Complaint, got the RX Incorrect. To get it corrected has been an exercise in patience and restraint. Regretting my decision to be seen at this location.

Dr. Julibeth Alvarez is excellent..very professional..however, the clinic and staff in front desk horrible. I had an appointment and neded to wait 2.30 hours..if you have nothing else to do all day and want to watch NOVELAS in the waiting room...go to this place.

They never call me to confirm the appointment. Last appointment almost need spent the whole afternoon at the place.
When you are at the location everybody are so nice, but after you left and call with any questions or concerns; they ignore you. Always avoid answer questions. The Dr never call you back or any member of the staff. I am not happy are all how the handle relationship with pacient.
