I have practiced in South Chicagoland for over 20 years. I trained in Chicago at Northwestern University Medical School and Rush Presbyterian St Luke Hospital. My emphasis is on adult wellness and preventive medicine.
In addition to general medicine, my passion is treating Diabetes, Hypertension, Cholesterol management and Weight management.
Our office utilizes traditional and natural medicine, Diane Egan, ND, CCN, who is a Naturopath (natural doctor) and a Nutritionist, practices here.
We also offer group medical visits, which many patients choose to enjoy a portion of their visits, learning nutrition and preventative medicine in an interactive group setting.

I think she needs to work more than 3 days a week or she has too many patients. I had a 2:30 appt but didn't get called until 4:40pm. Pack a lunch.

The visit with Dr Snead was excellent. It is the wait time that is annoying and awful. I know that she is through with each patient, but the wait time needs to change.

waiting time was horrendous. i will not wait that long again. i will leave and change doctors, even though i feel dr. snead is a good doctor, she needs to manage time better. i am also disappointed that i have to call the office to get more information about my visit as all my questions were not thoroughly covered.

Wait time is too long. My appt was at 530pm i didnt see her until after 8 pm. I was there for weight loss info and was told to google ketogenic diet. Wasted my evening.

This was my second visit to Dr. Snead; therefore, I do not have extensive feedback. She appears to be quite knowledgeable. The wait time was less for the second visit. I would prefer private consultation to discuss results of tests so as not to feel rushed.
I had the same primary physician from late 90's to 2013 so my feedback, clearly, is a comparison of the two doctors …. which maybe unfair since I have only met with Dr. Snead twice.

As usual, Dr. Snead and her staff were terrific and Dr. Snead’s bedside manner was great, but I arrived at 12:45 for a 1:00 appointment, was taken to exam room around 3:15 and wasn’t seen by the doctor until 4:00! I got home around 4:45.

2 hour wait. Dr or staff do not apologize. Can hear other patients visit info in next room. Dr more visually focused on computer in front of her. Have to remind dr of previous ordered treatment and receiving test results. I did find Dr to be aggressive with treatment which in the bottom line could be all that matters.

I waited two hours before I was seen, then another hour before I saw the doctor. I didn't get the prescription refill or test appointments I requested, and was given a test I didn't request on a machine that didn't work. After not being able to make the co-payment due to the office internet malfunctions, I gave up and left. Four hours down the drain and very little service...not a good experience for a first appointment.
