She has over 16 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Rochelle graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in health education with a specialization in Community Health. She later went on the earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. With a passion for education and the desire to be able to advocate for patients, she furthered her studies by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University and later a post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Miami. In addition to psychiatry, Rochelle has worked in a variety of settings including women’s health, geriatrics, primary care, trauma surgery and corrections. Throughout her career, her service has been prestigiously acknowledged by her peers for providing quality patient care. Rochelle Boyd is devoted to carry out and encourage total wellness, encouraging her patients in the scope of physical and mental health. She currently practices in psychiatry, treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, as well as ADHD. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I've been seeing Rochelle for about 10 months now and I have never felt better mentally. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to prescribing medications. I have bipolar 2 and also struggled with social anxiety really bad for my whole life. I never focused on the social anxiety because I was more concerned with getting my bipolar diagnosis addressed. Rochelle has treated me for both, and I am the most stable I have ever been. I find myself talking to strangers with ease when I hated to do it before. She is also very attentive and easy to talk to. She takes time to talk to me about what is going on in my life, rather than just asking me how my medications are working as other psychiatrists have done in the past and that shows that she really cares about my wellbeing. I can't say enough good things about her! She's amazing! I recommend her to anyone I know that needs a psychiatrist.
