Dr. Hughes and her staff are AMAZING! My insurance was no longer accepted by my previous provider, so I chose Dr. Hughes based on her reviews and it was a great experience. The only downside was the wait; but I was her last appointment for the day and once I met with her I realized why I waited longer. She actually spends time listening to you, answering any questions you have and is concerned about your well being, which means she’s doing that with EVERY OTHER patient. She spent a good 20-30 minutes discussing my health with me and any concerns I had. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

A thorough obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Rochelle Hughes pursued her medical education from Michigan State University. In order to gain practical skills, she further completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McLaren Greater Lansing. A knowledgeable provider, she integrates her medical expertise with state of the art technology and strives to provide the highest quality of healthcare.
Looking after the locals of Dewitt, MI, Dr. Hughes gives her patients her undivided attention and practices with the goal of helping each of them lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Her goal during consultations is to help women build a routine that will allow them to better prepare their bodies for a successful pregnancy and childbirth. She has clinical experience in endometriosis, urinary incontinence, management of hormonal imbalance, and obstetrics and gynecological surgery.
Dr. Hughes is excited to bring her knowledge to McLaren Greater Lansing-Dewitt Women's Health. She believes that it is essential for all women to understand how the reproductive system functions and actively invests in providing them with the necessary information. Best experience at a dr office I've ever had! The lady at the front desk was very lovely, normally they seem kinda tired and unenthusiastic, but not her. I got called back into a room before I even finished my paperwork! The nurse was very friendly and thorough asking questions before the dr came in. The dr had a great energy about her. She listened very well and made some really nice suggestions. I went in for just a general first time appt and we ended up taking care of a lot of different things!! Wonderful dr, I've already recommended her to a couple of my friends!

Such an awesome doctor! First time meeting Rochelle at my appt, but she made it feel like I've known her for a long time. Very personable, caring, listened to everything, suggested new ideas with facts starting why or why not to do the following. Being nervous for someone knew seeing everything, she made it super easy and comfortable. Totally recommend, office staff was nice also.

Dr. Hughes is a personable doctor and listened well to my concerns. Office was a little disorganized because I didn’t fill out new patient paperwork before seeing the doctor. She did look over my medical history on the computer before she came in and I really liked that! I waited about 20 minutes before I saw her, which is reasonable because of the personalized attention that I received from her. I will have a follow up in a week or two to discuss labs and ultrasound that she ordered.

Dr Hughes was incredible! I was hoping to find an OB/GYN similar to my previous doctor after moving. Dr Hughes exceeded my expectations and was exceptional when it came to hearing my concerns and helping get things jump started. I’m looking forward to my next appointment with her!

This was one of the best gyno appointments I've ever had. The doctor was really dialed into my questions and helped me troubleshoot some menstrual issues that have been ongoing. I have been trying to learn and practice the fertility awareness method and it's rare that doctors give a patients own observations weight. I was able to discuss my observations with her and get direct feedback. I could tell the office was busy, but when she was with me, she was really with me--which is always rare in a medical setting. I feel blessed that this was the first gyno I found in the area. Great care.

Dr. Hughes was amazing. She listened to my struggles and I could tell right away that she really wanted to help me and get down to the real issue. I didn't mind waiting a little longer to see her because I understand docs have other patients (she had surgery the night before and I think was checking up on patients/making rounds). It tells me that she takes her time with her patients and ensures they feel taken care of and heard. I really appreciated it.
