I wanted to go to a different doctor b/c our pediatrician charges us for sick appointments; as well as she rushes through appointments and seems to get annoyed if I have any questions. The front office was busy with patients. I had to fill out paper work, so that was part of the delay. The staff was very nice, however it is not a pediatrician's office (meaning they don't have children books, etc to keep them occupied), so bring items to keep your little ones busy. Once we got a patient room we saw Dr. Machuca and the staff within 5 mins. Even though he had a lot of patients he took his time w/ my daughter and made sure all of my questions were answered. Best of all, my insurance was terrific (no co-pay=free).

He was uncaring,unfriendly and ununderstanding. He wouldn't even understand my requests. I have no money for MRI and that just diddnt matter. He totally rushed me in and out. I was told a dietician is staffed there and I asked to learn more but wasn't even acknowledged!! If you aren't Caucasian then its a go!!

Visit was very brief, but he did tell me what meds I was getting and why. But I think maybe if we would have went into detail about why I was there I would have felt better. Seemed rushed.

The wait time was horrendous but the doctor was very polite and very professional. I can see his wait time is longer during this time of day because he does rush his patients. I will make a follow up appointment with this doctor.
