Dr. Roger Wu is an optometrist treating patients in the West Covina and greater California areas. His primary goal as a practitioner is to help his patients see better, which he pursues by providing the best service and materials possible. Dr. Wu is certified by the American Board of Optometry.
To pursue his medical education, Dr. Wu attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He later became the first Glaucoma-certified optometrist in the state of California, as well as the first optometric intern ever allowed to see patients in the Summer Olympics, 1996. Dr. Wu’s practice uses optical coherence tomography (OCT), as well as a specular microscope and PASCAL Tonometer. These technologies make his practice uniquely cutting-edge.
Patients visiting Dr. Wu can receive a full range of optometric care. He conducts general eye consultations and comprehensive dilated eye exams, as well as minor surgical procedures for dry eye problem or chronic tearing issue. Treatment for eye emergencies is also available. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Wu enjoys travel, fine dining, and movies. Dr. Wu also owns one design patent that has the potential to completely change how we instill eye drop in the future. His other patent-pending device, Dr. i-Coach, will be the first such device designed specifically to combat computer-induced eye problems (Computer Vision Syndrome or CVS).
Note: For your convenience and to save time, it is highly recommended that new patients arrive 15 minutes prior to his/her appointment to fill out necessary patient information and medical history. In regards to scheduling an appointment for new patients, it is recommended to schedule an appointment by 11:30 AM for the morning and by 4:30 PM for the afternoon.
